For over 25 years and counting, the Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy (LESJC) has created award-winning educational tours of New York’s most historically vibrant Jewish neighborhoods. We are the authoritative non-profit dedicated to providing these touring experiences. Beginning with the iconic Lower East Side, the cradle of American Jewish civilization, our tours now include everywhere from Brighton Beach to Regostan (Queens), as well as specialized tours, such as Knishes & Candy: A Walking Food Tour, Hassidic Williamsburg, Jewish Gangsters, Colonial Jewish New Amsterdam, and A Neighborhood Within: The Sephardic Lower East Side. The Conservancy exclusively provides access to the beautiful and historic Biaylstoker Synagogue.
